ITALIAN SPAGHETTI SAUCE
¼ # ground chuck
½ # Italian Sausage
1/3 cup chopped parsley
½ cup chopped onion
4 mushrooms, sliced
1 clove garlic, chopped
6 oz. chicken broth
½ to ¾ teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
1/3 cube butter
1 (8 oz) or 2 cups tomato sauce
1 ½ teaspoons olive oil
Day 1:
1. Brown all meat in oil.
2. Add onions, garlic, and parsley and cook until limp.
3. On top of this, put all the seasonings, cook 15 minutes.
4. Add the sliced mushrooms, cook until soft.
5. Add the sauce and chicken broth; bring to a boil, then simmer (about 4 hours).
6. Add the butter and cheese very slowly.
7. Serve with fresh pasta
