PIZZA DOUGH
1 T Active dry yeast
3/4 cup warm water (110º to 115º)
1/2 t. sugar
1/2 t. salt
2 T oil
1 3/4 C flour (+ 1/4 cup for adding and kneading)
PIZZA SAUCE
8 oz (1 cup) sauce
2 T onion, chopped
1/2 t. garlic salt
1/2 t. dried basil leaves
1/2 t. dried oregano leaves
1/4 t. pepper
Mix ingredients in a saucepan, cook and stir over low heat until crust is ready.

- Dissolve yeast in warm water.
- Stir in sugar, salt, oil & 1 3/4 cup flour with a wooden spoon and the remaining 1/4 cup of flour as needed.
- Turn onto well-floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 5 min. (Knead in enough of the remaining flour to prevent sticking).
- Pat dough onto large cookie sheet or pizza pan (lightly greased). Spread with sauce and add toppings
- Bake in 425º oven on bottom rack until cheese is bubbly and crust is brown, 15 to 20 mins.
