HOMEMADE PRETZELS
1 ½ teaspoons yeast
¾ cup warm water
1 ½ teaspoons sugar
½ teaspoon salt
2 cups flour
Kosher salt
Egg wash: 1 egg white, beaten
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
2. Mix together yeast, water, and sugar.
3. Add salt and flour.
4. Place on floured board and knead a few times.
5. Pinch off small lump of dough and roll into pretzel shape.
6. Place on parchment lined cookie sheet. Brush egg wash on each pretzel and sprinkle with kosher salt.
7. Repeat with remaining dough.
8. Bake 12-15 minutes.
